Our Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology treats children with common ear, nose and throat illnesses such as tonsillitis, sinusitis, ear infections (ottis media), snoring and sleep disorders along with hearing problems and speech disorders using the latest guidelines for medical treatment and the most advanced techniques for surgical treatment.

Some children with ear, nose and throat diseases need special care because of complicating medical conditions, therefore we also assess and treat children with more unusual disorders, including breathing problems involving the upper airways, chronic ear disease and acquired or congenital masses of the head and neck. We care for children with these conditions using all the resources of the Holtz Children’s Hospital. Here, we have pioneering surgeons who specialize in minimally-invasive endoscopic surgery of the sinus, airway and other related areas using cutting-edge technology in both diagnosis and surgical therapy. In addition to providing excellent patient care the Pediatric Otolaryngology Division provides outstanding research and education.

Patients and families will receive the expert care that they need in a child-friendly and family-centered environment. All aspects of Pediatric Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery are treated within this division including laryngotracheal disorders, voice and language therapy, sinonasal disorders, neck masses, otologic problems, cleft lip and palate and pediatric facial plastic surgery. However, recognizing the unique issues involved in treating children with disease of the ear, nose and throat the Department’s Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology is staffed by a team of experts including:
