International Courses

Subspecialty Specific Training Programs

These are courses lasting 2 to 4 days, that may be given multiple times per year by our subspecialists in rhinology, laryngology, otology, head and neck, pediatric otolarynogology, or facial plastics. They involve a series of lectures and/or panels reviewing the latest technology or treatment advances for that particular topic or specialty. Courses are generally held on the University of Miami Medical Center campus or at a designated hotel or other off-campus facility. The cost may vary depending on the course, and whether there is cadaveric lab experience available. The official language is generally english, but there may be some courses designed for spanish speaking otolarynogologists as well.

Annual International Temporal Bone Dissection Course

A 3 to 4 day-long intensive and hands-on course focusing on developing surgical skills in otology and neurotology. This course takes place in our state-of-the-art microsurgery laboratory and attendants practice surgical techniques in cadaveric specimens under supervision by faculty members.
